Our Mission

Creation of Our Center

The mission of ICOPS is to establish a mosque that serves as a catalyst for enriching the spiritual growth of an active, diverse, and united community, grounded in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Through religious, social, and educational programs, we aim to foster a thriving Islamic environment.

As our community grows, the need for a dedicated place of worship and essential services like Quranic studies has become increasingly vital. We invite you to join us in shaping our community’s future—one that will have a lasting impact for generations to come. Recognizing the importance of Islamic education for our youth, we are committed to developing facilities and programs that will guide and inspire our community, with special emphasis on children and young adults.

Additionally, we strive to strengthen bonds between Muslims and non-Muslims through welcoming platforms, offer interfaith and educational initiatives and expand community outreach efforts. All our programs are designed to promote harmony, goodwill, and benefit for all humanity. ICOPS is dedicated to providing educational and community programs within a culturally inclusive environment.

President’s Message

We begin, first and foremost, by praising Allah (SWT), the Most High, the Most Merciful, and the Sustainer of the whole world. We also send our salutations to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our community and other congregants throughout the city and county.

In March 2024, we began negotiations with RH Miller to purchase the Seattle Auto lot for expansion purposes, along with a smaller vacant lot adjacent to the fire station, using Musharakah financing for $3.3 million. The smaller lot has helped meet our much-needed parking requirements. As for the current ICOPS building, the plan is still to expand by opening the walls and adding the current shed area next to the ladies’ prayer area. Our Architect submitted the plan to Snohomish County for approval, and it is currently under review.

Since opening our doors in December 2019 for congregational prayers and other community activities, we have continued to receive generous donations from various members of the community as we focus on paying off the Masjid property. The reward for such an act of kindness lies solely with ALLAH (SWT), and as such, we pray to ALLAH(SWT) to bless you & your family, and most importantly, reward you as He pleases. Your generosity goes beyond giving for the sake of ALLAH (SWT), but it also demonstrates your unquestionable support in our endeavor to establish a Masjid and conduct programs to serve the community, and for that, we are touched. We pray to ALLAH (SWT) to inspire all of us to give Sadaqqa Jarriyah as we strive to please ALLAH (SWT). We praise Allah SWT and send salutations to our Beloved Prophet SAW for making us good Muslims.
